Italian casting company 2a S.p.A. celebrated the Grand Opening of their Auburn operation 2a USA Inc. today. Several members of the llotte family, owners of 2a, traveled from Italy to join local employees and Auburn community leaders for the ribbon cutting event, today. The company is joining the Auburn family following its recent acquisition of Aluminum Technology Schmid North America.

"Today's event marks the successful completion of the acquisition process of the Auburn operation into the family of 2a companies worldwide. We appreciate the work and trust of our employees in the transition process over the last few months", remarked Mr. Carlo Ilotte, President of 2a S.p.A., parent company to 2a USA, Inc.
