Officine Panerai opened its first ever flagship store in the Americas this month. The boutique of the Italian quality sports watchmaker is situated in the heart of the Miami Design District, an area of the city which has recently been transformed into an exclusive luxury shopping destination. The boutique features the new retail design concept created by Patricia Urquiola, the Spanish-born Italian-educated architect and designer.
The new Panerai store covers 2,200-square-foot retail space on two floors. The long, narrow space with high ceilings has plenty of sunlight entering from large front windows, complementing the inside lighting. Walls and furnishings made of light-colored materials complete the contemporary space with a feeling of airiness and warmth.
