It wouldn't be a Santa Fe Concorso without a theme, and this year's will come swooping in like a Ferrari. The sixth annual event of what the Concorso calls "The Southwest's premier automobile gathering" will have a blend of Italian and American style when it commences Sept. 25-27. "Ferrari in America" is one of the central themes to this year's event, which will be held primarily on the grounds of The Club at Las Campanas.
Dennis Little, president of the nonprofit organization sponsoring the charity event, said one of the premiere guests for the Concorso will be Luigi Chinetti Jr., the son of Italian-born racer Luigi Chinetti Sr., who helped establish the Ferrari brand in the United States. Chinetti Jr. will be the speaker at the Concorso's Legends event at Hangar K of the Santa Fe Municipal Airport on Sept. 25 and will be a judge at the exhibition at Las Campanas on Sept. 27.
