Running in Place deals with mental health, love and loss. Zoe and Rebecca are playing a game of faults. Will they realise that this game has no winners? The themes of the play are dealt with in a delicate, yet a lot of times funny way. Message from the company: “It is important for us to make this project happen because we all have struggled with the issues brought forth by the script. We have a good understanding of the story and feel a strong empathy for its characters. We believe our approach will make this a successful experience for the audience, in a way where each person will relate to the performance in a very human way”.
Et Alia is an emerging theater company composed of international women who are eager to express and unite their culturally diverse backgrounds and feminist lenses through the performing arts. The group was born from its members’ shared belief in the power of theater to build connections that go beyond nationalities and labels, as well as their ambition to tell the NYC audience stories they have not heard before.
