For many organizations the ability to help out a recent high school graduate with some scholarship money is a mission. The Enrico Caruso Lodge #1463 Order of Sons of Italy in America will attempt to do just that with the proceeds from their annual dinner. The dinner will be held on Saturday, July 8, beginning at 6 p.m. The cost of the event is $40 per person for a prime rib dinner. There are tables still available for sponsorships at $50 each. This year the organization will honor eight local high schools from Visalia and Exeter.
Redwood has four recipients receiving scholarships; Christine Bianco, Pete Giotta Memorial Scholarship; Anthony McGowan, Frank and Frances Cutler Memorial Scholarship; Ryan Montemagni, Mirizzi Family Scholarship; Claire Stetson, Sons of Italy Lodge Scholarship.
