LINGUA E CULTURA ITALIANA – LIVELLO I
This class is designed for children who are fluent or semi-fluent in Italian and are in the kindergarten to 1st grade age braket.
Children will have an opportunity to improve their conversation skills, learn how to read and write in Italian.Particular attention is given to orthography and morphology of the language as well as reading. In addition to learning Italian grammar children will learn elements of Italian history, geography and culture through a variety of activities, educational games and hands-on projects.
The program followed is the same currently used in elementary schools in Italy.

This class is specifically designed for children who are totally new to Italian language and focuses on Italian language acquisition.
To engage children and provide a stimulating learning environment, a variety of educational games, songs and hands-on activities will be used in class.
TPR (Total Physical Response) will also be used to help acquire and better retain information.

Schedule: Mondays 5:30-6:30

COOK & PLAY ITALIAN – (Beginners K-6)
This highly interactive class combines a variety of language acquisition techniques such as TPR, games, songs and dances with cooking activities.
Each topic presented in class has a recipe associated with it that children can use to cook together with the teacher to reinforce and retain the vocabulary acquired

THE LITTLE ITALIAN - for little ones (Beginners Pre-K)
This play-based class is specifically designed for young children (2yrs-4yrs) who are totally or somewhat new to Italian language and focuses on Italian language acquisition.
This course is highly interactive and engages children in a variety of fun activities. Movement, rhythm and music will be an essential part of the class.
TPR (Total Physical Response) will be constantly used to better acquire and retain information.
