The University of Delaware Cooperative Extension 4-H Program recently hosted 14 students from Sicily, the largest of the Italian islands, as part of the 2014 Youth Ambassadors Program. The program is funded by the U.S. Department of State through its Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA).
The participants spent time in the United States from May 17 through June 7 and did everything from exploring Washington, D.C., to spending a night in New York's American Museum of Natural History. They also learned how to solve problems facing their communities, important information that they can take with them as they return home.
