In collaboration with the Education Office of the Italian Embassy, the Italian Program hosted a symposium on "Learner Centered Classrooms" to a full house of 43 Italian language teachers from area schools.
Dr. Fatemeh Keshavarz (Director, School of Languages, Literatures and Cultures), Dr. Giuseppe Falvo (Director, Undergraduate Studies in Italian and Romance Languages), Dr. Roberto Pennazzato (Director, Education Office, Embassy of Italy) and Dr. Olga Mancuso (President, AATI DC Chapter) delivered welcoming remarks.
