
The Italian-American Festival Foundation Inc. of Stark County has announced it will award $8,000 in college scholarships for the 2019 academic year. This is the 33rd consecutive year the foundation has awarded scholarships totaling $256,000 to Stark County graduates. Applicants must be of Italian-American heritage and a graduate from a Stark County high school this spring.
Scholarships are awarded on the basis of need, scholastic ability, extra-curricular involvement and character. Scholarship winners will be announced at the awards breakfast of the Italian-American Festival on June 13. To obtain an application, qualified applicants must submit a request in writing to Italian American Festival Foundation Inc., P.O. Box 9345, Canton, Ohio 44711-9345.
