The Quad-City Italian-American Society will award a $1,000 scholarship to a high school senior who is enrolled in a college or university in the fall after graduation.
High school seniors with at least one Italian ancestor are eligible to apply, according to a news release. The winner will be selected based on grade point average and two required essays.
