Forum Lodge #391—Sons and Daughters of Italy in America recently awarded Anna M. Ripa Memorial Scholarships to three Aquidneck Island public high school 2020 graduating seniors. In addition to maintaining a B average or better in their studies and intending to enter university in the fall of 2020, the applicants wrote essays explaining the importance that their Italian ancestry has in their lives.
Anna Bodycoat of Rogers High School will be attending the University of Rhode Island to study finance. Middletown High School's John Regan will study sports management and business at Elon University. Matthew Lopes of Portsmouth High School will attend Fairfield University with a concentration in economics and finance.
