Strategic Innovation at The Graduate Center, CUNY, is pleased to present in collaboration with Italian Cinema-CUNY (IC-CUNY), and The Academy of Italian Cinema David di Donatello Awards an educational project aimed at creating a deeper understanding of the art of Italian cinema from its origins to the present day.
Through this joint effort, a three-part master class with Italian and American filmmakers in New York City is offered for fall 2019 and is the second edition of the Academic Festival IC-CUNY. Founded and directed by Eugenia Paulicelli, Professor of Italian Studies, a scholar of fashion and film, and for the 2019 edition co-directed by Massimo Mascolo, David di Donatello Awards Consultant.
For this 2019 season, IC-CUNY will showcase a three-part master class with international and award-winning costume designers in dialogue with American colleagues.
