For high school students, one of the most exciting things to experience is the chance to study abroad in a whole new country and be immersed in something very different to their usual norm. If not personally experiencing that themselves, the next best thing is getting to know someone who is a foreign exchange student.
This year, Fillmore Central has an abundance of foreign exchange students boosting the school's enrollment. One of these students is 17-year-old Giulia Fadda from Milan, Italy. As she becomes acquainted with the American school system, she resides in Fountain with Eric and Sue Ostrom.
