Students will gain a deeper understanding of the Italian language by watching the most important scenes from famous operas. There will also be discussion of librettos and contemporary articles about current performances.
Learning the lyrics of a song or an aria helps students expand their Italian vocabulary, learn some slang/typical phrases, and acquire fluency. Music is an incredible tool to memorize sentences and bring new vocabulary to life.
