Scuola Italiana di Portland offers two free ongoing programs every term for Italian Language lovers of all ages to improve their Italian language skills – Mommy and Me Playgroup and the Monthly Italian Language Bookclub.
Mommy and Me Playgroup
Io e la Mamma is a free playgroup for ages one to four held on most Friday mornings from 10:00 to 12:00 am at Friendly House in the Pearl, located at 1542 NW 14th Ave. It’s a fantastic way to begin a bilingual education for your littlest one while enjoying time together!
Monthly Italian Language Bookclub
For our Intermediate and Advanced Italian language speakers, we offer a free monthly Italian language bookclub hosted by one of our wonderful native language teachers, Daniela, to encourage conversation and improve reading skills outside the classroom. The event is hosted on Meetup.com, which you can join for free and find out the dates and locations of the meetings. Click here to check it out and sign up for free.
