Sogno Toscano, the organic Italian food and specialty food store in New York, is expanding to a new cafe called Sogno Toscano Cafe in Santa Monica, located at 1512 Montana Ave. Little details have emerged regarding this new cafe, other than the company, owned by Pietro Brembilla, recently applied for a liquor license. The new cafe will move into the former home of Montana Mercantile at an unknown date.
The company currently has a restaurant in New York that boasts delicious gourmet foods, imported Italian wines, and coffee, combined with a warm, friendly experience. This will be Sogno Toscano’s West Coast debut. If this new cafe is anything like the New York City restaurant, guests can expect authentic Italian dishes, such as bolognese, peperina, and preziosa.
