You might think the best Italian restaurant in America would be somewhere famous like New York City's Little Italy, but you'd be wrong, at least according to Yelp.

In its list of the highest-rated restaurants in the US, the top spot belongs to Mama D's Italian Kitchen, a family establishment in the sunny town of Newport Beach, California. (Though to be fair to the Big Apple, Mama D herself is actually from New York.)
