A local Italian eatery is garnering national attention on the eve of its 60th anniversary. Jasper's Restaurant on 103rd and State Line is one of only four restaurants in the United States to be named to the 2013 Fine Dining Hall of Fame by Nation's Restaurant News.
The restaurant was founded by Leonardo and Jasper Mirabile in 1954. The Mirabile family says the award is a tribute to tradition.
