Last week, when I suggested that a new day was dawning for pizza in Joplin with the opening of Midtown Pizza Kitchen, 1212 S. Main St., some people thought that comment was over the top. Well, Joplin's pizza scene is truly changing.
I did not have enough space last week to tell you that an Old Chicago restaurant is coming to Joplin. The restaurant chain specializes in pizza and Italian dishes. It will be located where Pitcher's Sports Bar and Grill is now located in the La Quinta Inn and Suites, 3320 S. Range Line Road.
