Since 1989, the family behind Napoli restaurants in the St. Louis area has treated diners to warm, inviting meals that showcase Italian cooking and cuisine. In June 2023, the Pietosos embarked on their latest venture, Napoli Sea, to bring fresh seafood to St. Charles, Missouri – and pay homage to a family patriarch in the process.
“We always wanted to do a seafood concept, and being in St. Charles, we noticed there really weren’t a lot of options out here,” restaurant co-owner Kye Pietoso says. “Also, my grandpa was a Navy diver and we wanted to do a concept in honor of him, as he loved seafood and was always in the water. We have a large diver helmet in honor of him [on display at] Napoli Sea.”
