I'm the last person in the world who should be doing food reviews. I do not consider myself a foodie, I don't stick my nose in my wine glass and I don't make sex noises when I eat. However, I felt compelled to tell everyone about the meal I had on Friday night (3/17/23). My wife Erica and I went to Cibo on Federal Road in Brookfield and had a great meal. Cibo is an Italian restaurant with flavors that reminded me of my Grandma Milano's cooking.
This place checked all of my dining boxes. The service was amazing, the atmosphere was comfortable and the food was off-the-charts good. I had the Gamberi Con Polenta which is garlic jumbo shrimp, heirloom tomatoes, scampi sauce and polenta puree.
