Luca’s Pizzeria and Italian Kitchen will open in Greenwich on Friday, April 12, in the Glenville Shopping Center. Luca’s is named after owner Joe Criscuolo’s father, who founded Pizza Post in Greenwich in 1972. Criscuolo was brought up spinning pizza dough and making fine Italian food at pizzerias in Fairfield County. He has helped run Pizza Post alongside his brother Matt for many years. 

He attended the Culinary Institute of America and worked with Lidia Bastianich, an Emmy-award-winning television host, best-selling cookbook author, and restaurateur. Luca’s menu will feature a variety of pizzas, pasta, sandwiches, salads, sides, and Italian specialties.
