A vacant restaurant near Rogers Lake is being transformed into a new Italian eatery called Stella's Restaurant & Pizzeria, the New London Day reported. The new 2,800-square-foot restaurant is described as a family-oriented experience, according to the New London Day. Stella’s is named after the family owners’ oldest child, 6-year-old Stella.
The restaurant is hoped to be ready to open by early May, the New London Day reported. Stella’s is set to serve pizzas, paninis, sandwiches and a variety of Italian salads among other things.
