With locations in Norwalk, Westport and Trumbull, Romanacci Pizza Bar has become something of an area staple when it comes to authentic Italian cuisine, and the eatery’s Westport location has just announced an upcoming expansion. The pizza bar will expand into the adjoining space next to the 54 Railroad Place locale.
The space is currently occupied by Winfield Espresso and Panini Bar, which opened in February 2016 and will close at the end of the month, according to Romanacci owner Maurizio Ricci and co-owner and brother Graziano. Ricci says that the expansion will allow for additional seating as well as a larger, “broader” menu. This will help to develop a more “European” atmosphere and ambiance.
