West Haven's iconic Zuppardi's Apizza is expanding with plans to open a prep kitchen with a takeout storefront in Ansonia, the owners announced this week. "We are excited to announce that our newest addition to the Zuppardi's family business is finally developing in Ansonia, CT!" reads a post on the Zuppardi's Facebook page.

"Our Ansonia space is located at 58 Beaver St. and will operate as a prep kitchen for our pizza truck. In addition, we will serve daytime slices, some sandwiches, and prepared items to be taken home. We will also accommodate takeout pizza orders with limited hours, as we plan to be open and fully operational THIS WINTER!
