"Come back home to Mamma" and indulge in robust Italian flavors deeply inspired by one Calabrian mother's cooking. Mamma Luciana's in College Point is dishing out meals from its brick oven pizzeria and kitchen that are heavily inspired by owner Rob's mother, Luciana.

"Our recipes started from my mom," Rob said. "Her meatballs are to die for." Rob and his siblings are first-generation Americans. After moving here from Calabria, he and his siblings grew up together in Little Italy and Manhattan, and later moved to College Point.
