The seventh-inning stretch just got a little cheesier by baseball standards. On Saturday, the FerryHawks introduce “Mozzarella Madness,” a celebration of all things curd-ish from cheese ball tosses to lessons on how to make the supple, yummy stuff. Italo Perito from Italo’s A&S Fine Foods of West Brighton and Port Richmond will lead cooking demos set for a private suite at the Staten Island University Hospital Community Ballpark, St. George.
The experience starts at 4 p.m. during game time. The cost is $75 per guest with food, soft drinks, the cheese class, a sample to take home plus the luxury of hanging out at the suite itself. Boars Head also will be presenting product for a sampling experience.
