The Gallerie dell'Accademia in Venice hosts its first grand anthological exhibit of 17th-Century painter Carlo Saraceni; Carlo Saraceni: Un Veneziano tra Roma e l'Europa is a follow-up to the same exposition that recently closed in Rome.
The exhibition - down to its curation details - highlights the painter's particular ties with Venice (his birthplace in 1579, and place of death in 1620) and with inland Veneto.
