Living and working in the midst of nature, eliminating stressful trips to the office, and setting aside all of the bad, depressing feelings caused by bosses who are more stressed out than you are. Sure, you won’t get rich, but you’ll gain more in terms of the quality of living: changing everything in order to open an agritourism spot in ‘Bella Italia’ is a rather drastic decision, but it’s one that more and more people are making.
According to the Scenari Immobiliari research and study institute, Italy has a rather elevated number of lodging facilities in comparison to the other European countries, in terms of how dominant non-hotel facilities are—there has been a significant growth in such businesses between 2014 and 2015. In particular, agritourism properties have grown by 8,224 units and, generally speaking, rental accomodations that are managed through a business structure have grown by 16,489 units.
