Federica Brignone won the Super-G in Garmisch, sealing the 19th personal victory of her career in the World Cup, which for the Italian women represents the 111th victory in history, as well as the 10th of the season, six of which came in this specialty. The Italian racer has won three times in the Super-G this season and today she has strengthened her leadership in the World Cup ranking of this specialty.

Given the results, the Super-G World Cup will be won for the first time in history by an Italian, since there are only two races left to the end of the season. With 200 points to be assigned, in fact, only Elena Curtoni, second at -103, and Sofia Goggia, third at -145, can still win the Super-G ranking. The fourth classified, in fact, the Austrian Tamara Tippler, has a delay of 218 points from Brignone.
