Langhe and Roero, an area in the Cuneo province located only 70 kilometres from Turin offers a gastronomic delight that is unparalleled in the world. Though Langhe and Roero’s main draw has been food and grape beverage for years, culture, art, nature and outdoor activities are fast taking up second place. This diversification has allowed for an increase in international tourist arrivals from Scandinavia, Northern America, France and the Benelux. Tourism is now more distributed throughout the year with peaks in the outdoors sector during the summer.
People coming to the Langhe and Roero region know what to expect: beautiful landscapes, excellent dining and drinks, and great hospitality. Grapes like Barolo and Barbaresco are served with local dishes: countless starters, homemade pasta like tajarin and ravioli al "plin", fassone tartare, PDO cheeses, desserts made with "Tonda Gentile di Langa" IGP hazelnuts and, last but not least, the Alba White Truffle.
