I have been fortunate to visit a handful of Italian cities in this surreal country over the past few years. One of the drawbacks of flying to Italy from Colorado is that you always have to have some form of a layover and they are usually quite long. Soon, you won't have to deal with the layovers if you want to experience la dolce vita in Italy as one airline has announced nonstop flights starting in 2025.
United Airlines will be offering nonstop seasonal flights from Denver International Airport to Rome's Leonardo da Vinci International Airport. These seasonal nonstop flights will begin on May 1, 2025. Daily direct flights to Rome, Italy will happen through September 24 on a Boening 787-9 Dreamliner airplane.
