The Vittoriale degli Italiani, the mansion-museum celebrating the figure of Gabriele d’Annunzio in Gardone Riviera, has reached a historic milestone: 300,000 visitors in a single year. An ambitious goal, set by the Foundation and President Giordano Bruno Guerri after the Vittoriale’s centennial in 2021, which marked a moment of revival despite the difficult context of the pandemic, when attendance had stopped at 179,047. 

“It is an achievement,” Guerri said, “that we owe to those who work in and for the Vittoriale, starting with the Board, making it one of the most visited house museums in the world and, above all, a cultural enterprise of Italian reference, excellence for the Lombardy region."
