Google Camp 2022 chooses Sicily again. This time, however, no temples but the Verdura Resort in Sciacca, the ultra-luxury facility designed by Rocco Forte. Big businessmen and VIPs have arrived in Sicily, and as far as entertainment is concerned, Andrea Bocelli has been chosen.
The Google Camps are exclusive meetings focused on the most topical issues related to the evolution of the world and society. They host big names from the business and technology spheres, as well as stars from the entertainment industry.
Everything is focused on maximum privacy. According to rumors, executive flights have arrived by private jet, with a virtually inaccessible flight plan. Some would also arrive by helicopter or in blue cars with tinted windows, directly from Trapani and Palermo. Luxury yachts were also expected to arrive.
ECB President Christine Lagarde arrived at Palermo's Falcone e Borsellino airport, then headed to the Verdura. Until Aug. 4, the facility will be Google's headquarters. Lagarde had already come to Sicily three years ago for Google Camp.
Already in the past, the Verdura Resort had been a destination for Google guests as a "base" or for a few businessmen's meetings. Among the guests who, in the past, have come to the famous resort are Elton John, Lenny Kravitz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Madonna, Lady Gaga and Will Smith.
On the occasion of Google Camp 2022 many big names will stay at the resort. Andrea Bocelli, back in 2015, had sung in the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, along with John Legend.
