An unprecedented alliance has created a new sort of school, the Motor Vehicle University of Emilia-Romagna (Muner). On one side, the automotive giants spread along Via Emilia, famous around the world such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Ducati, Maserati, Dallara, Toro Rosso, Haas and Magneti Marelli. On the other, universities of the region—Bologna, Modena, Reggio Emilia, Parma and Ferrara—among the oldest in Europe, offering a variety of classes specialized in engineering, motors and automotive.
Uniting companies and academia, the Emilia-Romagna region, an historic global reference point for its educational and training system, is becoming a laboratory for a new competitive model based on a cohesive manufacturing ecosystem based on work.
