When traveling abroad, there are many things one can learn. Whilst in Italy last summer, I figured I would be able to brush up on my Italian language skills some, and meet some very interesting people. I was also able to prove true the myth that Italians like to talk with their hands (not that there was really much doubt to begin with).
This small list (acted out by yours truly) will not only help you understand a conversation, even from afar, but will help you communicate if you are traveling abroad as well. Italian-Americans will also find that a lot of these are present in our culture here at home. Who knew?
