The ranking is signed by Brand Finance 2022 and photographs the top 500 companies in the world for brand value. Nine of these are Italian, in order of ranking: Gucci (108), Enel (144), Eni (193), Intesa (205), Generali (239), Ferrari (258), Post Office (266), Tim (284) and Conad (484). Compared to last year, Made in Italy has two more standard bearers, with all brands growing in value and improving their performance, except for Ferrari.
Gucci is the leading board of Made in Italy, with a brand value of $18 billion. The luxury company has jumped nine places in the rankings since 2021. Italy remains in ninth place in the ranking of the aggregate value of brands by country. In the lead is the USA with $24.7 trillion, followed by China (19.8). Then, at a considerable distance, Japan (4.4), Germany (4.3), United Kingdom (3.7), France (2.9), India and Canada (both 2.1) and Italy (1.9), which precedes South Korea (1.7) in the Top 10.
