Alice Feiring, a leading advocate of natural wines who produces an excellent monthly newsletter offered this definition in a Wall Street Journal article on natural wine: "It needs to be natural from the ground up. Nothing added, nothing taken away. No additives, no adjustments and very little added sulfur."
