Yesterday 3 golds, 2 silvers and 6 bronzes: we are at 46 medals! In day 7 of the paris Paralympic Games Italy stood on the highest podium thanks to Fabrizio Cornegliani in the H1 individual time trial in road cycling, Alberto Amodeo gold in the 400 freestyle S8 swimming, and Monica Boggioni dominating the women's 50 breaststroke SB3.
Silver medals came from Luca Mazzone in the individual H2 road cycling time trial and Matteo Betti in the category A foil. Bronze medals came from six athletes, including Bebe Vio Grandis, Italy's most famous and medal-winning Paralympic athlete. The Italian won the bronze medal in category B foil: it is her 5th medal at the Paralympic Games after two individual golds, a silver and a team bronze.
Bronze also came from Davide Franceschetti in the 50-meter pistol shooting; from Martino Pini in the H3 individual time trial in road cycling; from Xenia Francesca Palazzo in the women's 400 freestyle S8 swimming; from Giulia Terzi again in swimming; and in table tennis from Federico Falco in class 1 singles (MS1).
