Rocca Imperiale is one of the most picturesque medieval towns in Italy. The landscape and the surrounding sea coupled with the heritage of the site make for a unique place to explore. The village is located between Pollino National Park, the Sibari plain and the Metapontino area which means tourists can access Rocca Imperiale via many routes.
A famous food from the area is the lemon, which has been grown for centuries in the area and is an iconic part of the village's history. These lemons are unlike others with an intense yellow colour and a strong scent which distinguishes them.
