Pininfarina has been best known over the past 60 years for its design of most production Ferraris, but to expand application of their design services, in the mid-1980s the firm began developing products beyond automotive. Celebrating their 85th anniversary, Pininfarina unveiled its Icon85 Collection last week.
They will issue 85 examples of each piece in the collection. These six products and Pininfarina's partners celebrate the "Made in Italy" core values of passion for elegance, skilled craftsmanship, attention to detail and innovation. You'll note the Icon85 products are all photographed with other Pininfarina designs, mostly cars. Nothing like heritage for brand reinforcement.
