World Cup Champion and Treble Winner, Marco Materazzi becomes the Director of Coaching at Soccer Management Institute, one of the most prestigious Sports Institutes in Europe. In partnership with the American University of Rome, Soccer Management Institute aims to develop the next generation of sports professionals, attracting students from all over the world to attend a Master in Soccer Management & Coaching and other academics programs in the heart of Rome.

During their time in Italy, the SMI students have the opportunity to continue playing football at a pro and semi-professional level by being part of a unique program. Marco Materazzi joins a team that is already made up of several professionals, including Antonio Cincotta, head coach of ACF Fiorentina Women's.
