This recognition further cements Italy's position as a culinary powerhouse, with multiple cities ranking high on the list. Naples, the birthplace of Pizza Margherita and Sfogliatella, earned its top spot by showcasing a cuisine that is both rich in tradition and universally loved.

Beyond pizza, Naples is also known for delicacies like Gnocchi alla Sorrentina, Pastiera Napoletana, Zeppole, and Ragu alla Napoletana.
