The launch of the innovative brunellocucinelli.ai website is also an opportunity to announce a new Chair that will be activated within the year at the University of Perugia. It is the Chair in Technology and Universal Humanism, and to tell about it Brunello Cucinelli calls to the stage the rector of the University of Perugia, Maurizio Oliviero.

“It is a unique idea. It will be a transnational and multidisciplinary Chair capable of involving scientists, philosophers and economists. And it will be dynamic, itinerant. It will not want to give answers but to raise good questions” says Oliviero. The project will be unveiled in late September and activated by 2024.

The interest on artificial intelligence, its link with human ingenuity and creativity is after all a topic rich in insights and potential that has interested Cucinelli for years. As early as May 2019, the groundwork was laid for a shared reflection with the world's top AI experts through the “First Symposium of Soul and Economy in Solomeo.”

Last May, the second edition of the Symposium was held, crowned with an Honorary Doctorate in Human Sciences awarded by the University of Perugia to Reid Hoffman, co-founder of Linkedin and artificial intelligence genius. “I invite everyone to read his lectio magistralis,” said Cucinelli, ”to think positively about artificial intelligence and understand the importance of dialogue and collaboration with human creativity.
