For Italian couples going through a crisis, from now on, breaking up will be simpler. The new regulation on the so-called "short divorce" just took effect. From now on, the separation period will be shorter.

This period is the first step taken by couples willing to end their marriages, and the stage at which early decisions about children (whom they will live with, how often will the other parent see them), and common areas such as the house and money, are taken.
