The caves of Polignano a Mare
Polignano a Mare is one of the most fascinating and mysterious places in southern Italy. The town, located on the coast of Puglia, holds some of the most stunning caves in Italy. Those in Polignano were naturally created in the limestone rock through millions of years of erosion by the Adriatic Sea and hold incredible stories and evocative experiences as well as offering breathtaking scenery.
