My name is Nita Sturiale and my past and present is intertwined with Sicily.
I have been a Professor at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston for more than 15 years, am currently the department chair, and have been the project manager for many successful endeavors in the arts and in business.
I have been traveling to Sicily every summer for 14 years with my Sicilian husband and children. I have reconnected with my own Sicilian heritage, visited the towns of my grandparents, and been embraced by my husband's family and friends.
