Four golds for Sofia Raffaeli in the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup finals in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The Italian outclassed all her rivals in the final eight: the reigning world champion immediately took the top spot on hoop ahead of Germany's Kolosov and Uzbekistan's Ikromova. At the ball, she won again over Kolosov and Slovenia's Vedeneeva. But she also managed to triumph on clubs and ribbon.
It was another successful day for the Italian, after she had clearly beaten the competition in the overall competition yesterday. Her haul of gold medals thus rises to 13: the five gold medals won in Tashkent are added to the eight won in the first two stages of the international World Cup circuit (Athens and Sofia).
