With his documentary Salvatore: Shoemaker Of Dreams, the Italian director does exactly that, delivering an opulent portrayal of the renowned titular icon who created the legendary Italian fashion label Salvatore Ferragamo alongside the burgeoning Hollywood of the early 20^th Century.
