Not even a week's rest for the Settebello, which after its world silver medal in Budapest is ready to pack its bags again: on Friday, July 8, Sandro Campagna's Italy will assemble at the Centro Federale in Ostia, and on Saturday, July 9, it is scheduled to leave for the United States for a common training session with the star-studded national team coached by Dejan Udovicic that will last until July 19.

Also on the schedule are three official friendlies in California, which will be televised live and streamed by U.S. broadcaster ESPN.: July 12 at the Woollett Aquatics Center in Irvine; July 15 at Stanford University and July 16 at Santa Clara University in Silicon Valley.

For the "American campaign," aimed at preparing for the World League Super Final in Strasbourg (July 22-27) and then the European Championships in Split (starting Aug. 27), the coach has summoned 18 players, of whom only eight took part in the World Championships in Budapest.
